CARBON STEEL

Carbon steel types include low, medium and high carbon content steels whose chemical composition is defined in broad ranges. Low-carbon steel has 0.30% or less carbon; medium-carbon steel has 0.30%-0.60%, and high-carbon steel has 0.60%-1.00% carbon content.

1070 Steel

CHARACTERISTICS

Good mechanical resistance and heat treatment capability. It has good strength when high forming stresses are required and good hardness indices in the final product. Also used for the bead invoicing process.

APPLICATIONS

Low-requirement, small thickness springs and wear-resistant agricultural tools, high-strength wheels.
